And we're live!!!

After a successful first weekend, the B&B thang has started its course, and not necessarily with the same original intentions but possibly even better! The whole house doesn't have to be spic and span because they are TENTING it! I've invested in a 10-person tent with a bunch of extras. What's better than camping without all the hassle of lugging everything and setting up/taking down a campsite?! Equipped with a camping grill/propane, portable toilet & shower, sleeping pads, and more are offered through AirBnB. On the side I'm offering extras such as picnic-style meals, full service meals, boating tours/tubing, kayaking, safe rides to/from local places, dog/babysitting, queen air mattress, etc. Two stays so far (one a truly wonderful family of 5) and an engaged couple. Both are NY residents (but the family is not originally from here). It has been so much fun so far. Our new goal is to buy a couple Amish cabins and plant them throughout the property. We're also in the process of cutting a road down to (and then removing debris from) the beautiful beach area! We couldn't be in a better location and offer so much ~ I look forward to sharing what we have to offer with people! Exciting times!
