2 Years Later & Still Moving Forward!

So here we are, two years later, and while the dream seemed to fade a bit, it is still very much alive! We are settled in our new home in North Country: Ogdensburg, New York on the Beautiful Saint Lawrence River and border of Canada. There couldn't be a better place to have landed and just in time to settle in from all the moving pains and be in quarantine from COVID-19. Ian started on the boathouse last weekend, moving fascia and throwing in a couple supports since half the walls are gone now. It's a LOT of work and it has been challenging to find anyone to even come to our property to quote. In any case, our very smart distinguished gentleman of the house is motivated and determined to get a new frame up for a restored boathouse.

I think we have an AWESOME plan and it will be amazing for guests! Imagine garage doors instead of walls, where you can watch the sunset, fish, or just kick back and let the breeze flow through. THIS is going to be phenomenal. In fact, I think I might just live there and let one of the kids take over the house when they're older and have a family of their own. We're not going anywhere lol! Now that we have the biggest phase over (finding a location & actually completing the move), it is time to hone in on the details! Can't wait!
